The American Express Root For City Challenge is a unique program that brings together
the City of Miami, local businesses, and American Express
® Cardmembers. Miami is competing
against seven other U.S. cities for a share of the one million dollar grant for urban
tree plantings. These votes are earned every time you use any American Express card
at a registered local business.

This sign indicates that a local business is registered with the Challenge, and
your American Express Card transactions at participating
businesses from September 22nd to October 31st will count as a votes
for the City of Miami. Look for the
tree and Root for Miami signs or refer to the
registered businesses list to know that the business is
enrolled and any American Express Card transaction between
September 22 - October 31, 2008 there will count as a vote for
the City of Miami. Your participation will help demonstrate
your civic pride while helping to make Miami a better place to
live. |
